Collectively, his books function as a ministry of encouragement for all who seek direction and renewal.

In addition to writing, Mr. Hamilton speaks to incarcerated men and women, residents of the Salvation Army and halfway houses, and individuals navigating life transitions. His presentations focus on selfempowerment, accessing resources, and developing the mindset necessary for lasting change. He also engages high school and college students, teaching the principles of success, leadership, financial responsibility, and the art of failing forward.

Maurice Hamilton, M.A.Ed., is a retired New York City High School Administrator, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and author residing in North Carolina. His professional
background includes serving as Assistant Principal at
August Martin High School, where he supervised several
major programs:

• Flight/Aviation Program – Students learned aviation theory and flight operations, culminating in at least one supervised solo flight.

• Art Program – Students studied art history, analytical techniques, drawing methods, ceramics, and creative expression.

• Business Program – Students mastered résumé writing, cover letters, business correspondence, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher. They also learned jobsearch strategies, interview skills, professional etiquette, budgeting, and workplace success.

• Technology Program – Students became proficient in computer literacy, Technical Drawing/AutoCAD, and Electronics Theory and Applications.

His entrepreneurial ventures include ownership of an engraving company, a television and radio repair service, and a floor installation and maintenance business. He continues to share his message of hope through radio, television, Facebook, X (Formally Twitter), and other media platforms.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Hamilton enjoys billiards, writing, jazz concerts, art museums, and studying diverse artistic styles. His favorite sports include boxing, billiards, football, and basketball.

Mr. Hamilton’s academic credentials were earned at the City College of New York and Queens College. His work history can be verified through the New York City Department of Education. He is also a proud member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
